"Stories from the Web is a fantastic site as it allows us to to upload children's work which they have submitted to the library. Children love seeing their work online so it is a great motivational tool as well as being fun. Luton Libraries has a reading development initiative that we run throughout the year called Book Bite, whereby children write and/or draw a bit about the book they have read. As well as displaying these reviews in the libraries, putting them on the Stories from the Web gallery means that a wider audience can peruse these Book Bites and gives lots of pride to the children to see their own work published online. I know from using the site it has made my job a lot easier when I've had no activities prepared for the kids, SFW has always had something ready for me to use with the children.
