It wouldn't be Christmas without a Doctor Who special and this year is no exception. I remember the family being really excited a few years ago when the film version of The Chronicles of Narnia, The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe was released in cinemas and luckily they weren't disappointed, sitting there aghast and open mouthed as the magic landscape beyond the wardrobe came to life, with all manner of creatures projected out of the screen, while Aslan's booming voice, majestic in its authority, blasted out surround sound style.
I'm hoping we'll be able to say the same about the Doctor's take on it in, 'The Doctor, The Widow and The Wardrobe,' after it's aired on Christmas Day and judging by the trailers I've seen it's looking like it'll be a good one. I'll leave you by wishing you a very Merry Christmas and hope that you all have loads of fun and laughter during the festivities and enjoy this spectacle that has become a new Christmas tradition.
