Big City Read for Brum

I've just finished reading the Birmingham Big City Read 'Before I Go to Sleep' by S J Watson. Following an accident Christine wakes up every day with no memories of the last twenty years. Each day she has to rediscover her history with husband Ben. A new Dr who is helping her to regain and retain her memory sets the ball in motion for a fantastic denouement to this eerie thriller. A great feat for a new author, the book manages to remain convincing, despite the readers' prior knowledge of Christine's history and leads us buy the nose until it provides the requisite twist in the tale. Well worth reading.
